to install:
- Find and mount the BrowseBack disk image file (.dmg)
- If you're using Safari with "Open 'safe' files after downloading" turned ON in Safari Preferences, the BrowseBack disk image file will mount automatically.
- If you're using Safari with "Open 'safe' files after downloading" turned OFF in Safari Preferences, you'll find the BrowseBack .dmg file in your Downloads folder (under Leopard) or on your Desktop (under Tiger). Double-click it to mount the BrowseBack disk image.
- If you are using another browser, you'll need to locate the BrowseBack .dmg file. It may be in your Downloads folder (under Leopard), on your Desktop or in another location, depending on what is specified in your browser's preferences. Once you locate the .dmg file, double-click it to mount the PDFpen disk image.
- Click "Install BrowseBack". The License Agreement window will open. Click "Continue" to to continue the installation and then "Agree" to agree to the terms of use.
- Click "Install". BrowseBack will be installed in your Applications folder. When installation is finished, click "Quit" to exit the installer.
The download is a fully-operational trial version of BrowseBack. It is identical to the purchased version, except that the SmileOnMyMac logo will appear at the top of your browser window when you visit a web page via BrowseBack. Once the product is purchased and registered, the logo will not appear.
