Send via Fax: Basic Example
Note: You must be a subscriber to eFax.com, jConnect, EasyLink, or MaxEmail to send via those services. pagesender also supports sending via fax modem.
1. In any Mac OS X application, select Print from the File menu.
2. Select Send via Fax from the Send via popup menu.
pagesender presents an envelope which lets you fax anything you can print. If you don't see the envelope when printing, make sure pagesender is selected in the Printer: menu. If your application has its own Copies & Pages panel, you must choose the pagesender panel from that popup menu.
3. Click the Open Address Book button.
4. Drag an address into the white area below Number and To.
5. If you want a cover page, select it from the popup menu. If you'd prefer no cover page, choose "No Cover Page." For more information on custom cover pages, click here.
6. Press the Print button.
If you are using a fax modem, pagesender Fax Center will launch in the background and begin dialing.
If you are using eFax.com, jConnect, or EasyLink, your E-mail application will open in the background and your fax will be sent via E-mail. The sent message will be placed in your E-mail application's sent messages folder.
