About the Download

The download is a fully-operational free trial version of the software. It is identical to the purchased version, except that web pages accessed via BrowseBack will have a top frame with the SmileOnMyMac logo. Once the product is purchased and registered, the frame will not appear.

Note: Localized versions can be downloaded via the Download link above. French, German, Italian and Japanese localizations are contained in the same file as the English version.

Download Instructions

Click the download link and download will typically commence.

From Internet Explorer it may be necessary to download via the pop-up menu (Control-click) from the download link, and choosing Download Link to Disk.

The downloaded disk image file will automatically mount if you're using Safari. If you're not, you might need to double-click the disk image file to mount it. If you have problems, drag the file to Disk Copy, located in the Utilities folder of the Applications folder.

To install:
Double-click on the file titled "Install BrowseBack" and follow the instructions.

Once installed, you can double-click the BrowseBack icon in your Applications folder to start the program.

Please note: The first time you run BrowseBack, the program will load your previous web history. You'll be asked how much of your web history you want loaded. Selecting longer periods of history will result in longer loading times. You can pause the loading at anytime by clicking on the Pause icon to the right of the progress bar.
